Candidate: A new and exciting position has become available for a Full-Time Nursery Practitioner.

Work pattern: Monday – Friday, (8.00-16.30), 50 week per year (we close last week in August and December).

Setting: Childerwood Nursery is a 42-place provision which benefits from various facilities on site, and we are proud of the safe, fun, and educational space that we have created. Placements are offered to families with children between the ages of 24 months to 60 months.

Future: We are looking to lower the age range to offer families childcare facilities for babies and children between the ages of 4 months to 60+ months.

We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and conscientious Teaching Practitioner to join our nursery team. The candidate will be expected to work minimum of 30-40 hours per week, 50 weeks of the year. As a Teaching Practitioner you will be an integral part of the team assisting the Room Leader by providing an efficient, effective, and qualitative support service for 3-4-year olds.

• Nursery Qualification, Level 3 in early years
• Mandatory training, Child protection
• At least 1-2 year’ relevant experience
• Experience of managing a group of 8-12 key children
• Experience of observing, assessing, and planning
• Awareness of dietary and food related allergies

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS). Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders which have been made against them. Successful candidates will be required to provide a Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) and two suitable references.

The Childcare professionals Ltd is committed to ensuring everyone within the nursery is responsible for Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Employment is subject to two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check, all overseas candidates who have lived or worked abroad will be required to submit an overseas criminal record check.
