This is an exciting time for our school, as we have now moved to a brand new, spacious building in Old Buckenham.
We are a Complex Needs School for pupils with moderate, severe or profound learning difficulties between the ages of 3 to 19. All pupils have different learning needs; they learn best when they are happy and excited about learning.
We need to expand our team of support staff and are looking for four qualified teaching assistants with commitment to develop their skills in the field of Special Educational Needs. You will need to be a team player, calm, patient, have an eye for detail and a good working knowledge of ICT; full training, induction and mentoring will be given.
All posts will initially be class based and you will be working under the direction of a class teacher and the phase leader of your department.
Your work will cover all aspects of children’s learning, pastoral, social & emotional and personal care, in line with the School’s ethos and policy. You will need to work closely and effectively with your class and support team, pupils’ families and other partners. High quality communication and people skills are required for this post.
You need to have relevant experience and/or qualifications (e.g. NVQ 2/3) and demonstrate the ability and commitment to help and support our pupils to achieve their very best.
Applications are welcomed from qualified teaching assistants with experience in special education from mainstream and /or special schools. We warmly invite you to come and visit our school. The school runs a comprehensive programme of professional development.
We are seeking people with enthusiasm and passion who will be fully committed to the new start at Chapel Green School and the challenges and opportunities this will bring.
For further details and an application form for this post, please contact Mrs Sue Glover, Chapel Green School, Attleborough Road, Old Buckenham, Norfolk, NR17 1RF or by phone or email as shown above.

Closing Date: Monday 4th June 2018 @ 12 noon Interviews to be held on: Monday 11th June 2018
