Little Owls Day Nursery Ltd offer two high quality early years settings one situated within Toftwood and one at Scarning.Both settings are based just outside the market town of Dereham.

Our Toftwood nursery offers 100 places for children between the ages of 6 weeks -5 years whilst our Scarning nursery offers 54 places.

We are currently offering a fabulous opportunity for the successful candidate to work on a full-time basis within our 3-4 year old pre school nursery at our Ofsted Outstanding Little Owls Toftwood nursery.

We are offering this role as an adaptable role very much depending on the successful candidates previous experience.

If the ideal candidate has past experience within a senior role as a room leader or possible nursery supervisor then we can adapt this role for a supervisor position.If the successful candidate is currently working within a managerial role in an early years setting then this position will be adapted to a senior nursery practitioner with more responsibility which will be reflected in the wage structure offered.

For the senior nursery practitioner your role will be to oversee the smooth day to day running of our two preschool rooms with the additional support of a supervisor, 2 senior nursery nurses as well as an experienced team of qualified and experienced nursery nurses.

You will require to possess a sound and thorough knowledge of the eyfs ,Ofsted requirements as well as possessing a thorough knowledge of continuous provision,planning, observation and assessment cycle and monitoring the quality of these within our nursery pre school rooms.

The successful candidate will already be employed within a similar capacity within an Early years setting and experience of performance managing staff is essential.

For the supervisor position then you will already have gained experience and currently working as a room leader or supervisor within an early years setting.

A recognised and relevant early years qualification is essential for both positions with a minimum of a level 3 required.

Further training and support will be provided for both positions in addition to a successful career progression and job security for the right candidate.
