We have a child focused team who really care about the well-being and development of their key children and the people around them.

We are looking for a passionate and strong Room Leader who is looking to grow professionally into a managerial role within a company that focuses heavily on their people.

The candidate must be looking for a challenge and eager to grow and develop supporting the management team. The candidate must be able to lead and inspire the team for outstanding outcomes and be responsible for the daily care and development of children under 3 years of age.

We expect all our Key Educators to be responsible for the following areas:
• bringing passion and expert knowledge to the nursery
• sharing this knowledge with the team
• putting your stamp on the daily routine including bespoke planning for individual child needs
• having an awareness of risks in the setting and your room to ensure a safe environment.
• using a creative approach to progress each child’s learning rate within the room, making sure you have full awareness of each child's individuality.
• feedback and communication with parents via our Tapestry online learning journal, face to face and at parent information evenings
• supporting management to ensure that tasks relating to day-to-day management of nursery are completed.
• support of more junior team members to ensure they are confident and understand their roles within the nursery.
• motivating and engaging team to ensure the best possible environment for children to learn.

The nursery is open for 50 weeks a year from 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Schedule:
• 10-hour shift working 4 days per week or 8-hour shift working 5 days per week.

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks when greeting parents, children entering from different doors, weekly Covid testing provided by us, daily fog sanitising, daily hired cleaner.
