Preschool assistant manager

£9.50/hr Full time Term Time Only 30-03-2020 Level 3 childcare qualification
We have an excellent full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Manager to join our friendly team at Hellesdon Preschool in Norwich. We are a charity run, term time, preschool serving up to 40 children over two classrooms with an Ofsted rating of good.
We are looking for a confident and passionate person with great communications and leadership skills to support and develop the team and ensure the needs of the children are met.
This role is perfect for an someone looking to progress and develop in their career.

Key responsibilities will be:
• Responsible for assisting the pre-school manager in the day to day running of the school
• Promote a safe and caring learning environment for the children
• Assist current manager with the management of all staff members including recruitment, supervision meetings, training and appraisals
• Ensure the preschool is compliant with Ofsted and HSE
• Responsible for administration and finance
• Maintain excellent working knowledge of the EYFS framework and their implementation
• Work closely with parents and the school committee
Essential criteria:
• Minimum level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
• experience working with children
Desirable:
• First aid qualification
• Safeguarding level 2
• SENCO qualified
• Ability to use Microsoft office packages effectively.
