Nursery Room Leader

-Hours: 35 hours per week, term-time plus 1 week
-Term of contract: Permanent
-Proposed Start date: 7th June 2021
-Grade: Scale E £10.41 - £11.27 per hour

We are looking for a Nursery Room Leader to join our friendly staff team, working with our 3-4 year olds.

We are looking for someone who:

-Is qualified to work with Early Years to at least Level 3
-Has experience of working in a nursery setting
-Is flexible and willing to work as a team.

The role will include:

-Working alongside our Assistant Headteacher (EYFS) to continue to develop the high quality provision and practice in our Nursery.
-Ensuring that the development of children’s speech, language and communication skills is given highest priority.
-Ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times.
-Keeping up to date with current EYFS research, guidance and best practice.
-Promoting and valuing positive relationships with all families.

A successful candidate will have:

-A warm, patient and caring personality with a good sense of humour and lots of enthusiasm and passion.
-A secure knowledge of EYFS, including the development of children’s language and communication skill
-A proven ability to use observation and assessment to inform and develop planning and provision.
-Experience of leading others successfully.
-Excellent communication skills.
-A resilient personality and a growth mindset when faced with challenges.
