Nursery Practitioner (Named Deputy)

Based on qualification and experience Full time All Year 30-07-2017 Level 3 childcare qualification
Alpha Nurseries Group are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner (Named Deputy) for The Oaks Day Nursery in Diss. We have a full time (30 hours) position available. Hours between 7.30am – 6pm, Monday to Friday, to start as soon as possible.

Role Requirements

We are looking for knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate practitioners to work as part of the team to provide care and education at an outstanding level. Applicants should have a thorough working knowledge of the EYFS and must hold an up to date and recognised level three childcare qualification; experience is desirable.

Role and Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities include;

Act as key person for designated children
Maintain appropriate developmental records and undertake assessments
Plan and carry out activities to support children's next steps in learning
Ensure the health and safety of the nursery environment is maintained
Follow all safeguarding children procedures
Follow all Alpha Nurseries Group policies and procedures
Act as named deputy in the absence of the manager
