Nightingales Day Nursery in Norwich are currently recruiting for a new Nursery Manager.
This is a permanent, full time position offering a competitive negotiable salary for the right candidate. Hours between 7.45am and 6.15pm, Monday to Friday, to start as soon as possible.

Hours: 40 inclusive of opening and closing of the nursery Monday to Friday all year round It will be a requirement that you are able to open and close the nursery up to 4 days per week With one day off per week on a rota basis:

At Nightingales we have a team of highly trained, friendly, and supportive staff. Our colleagues are all qualified and have the necessary dedication and experience to deliver high quality childcare and education. We are at present seeking a new manager to move our nursery forward to increase our numbers and too lead a passionate team of practitioners whom have the children’s welfare and learning as their main goals.

We are looking for a strong but kind fun lead whom will work well within the team Who’s main objective and goal will be moving the nursery forward to an outstanding level of care in the coming near future

Our nursery is fully open but also undergoing decorating and refurbishment in certain areas of our building at this time The successful candidate will also be able to be at the beginning of this new journey. To this end we are looking for someone with the same passion to meet our end team goals with our children’s welfare and learning at the heart of our provision.

Role Requirements

Applicants must hold an up to date and recognised level three childcare qualification and have at least one year post qualifying childcare experience.
Ability to navigate ICT/Excel is essential.
Prior experience of managing an early years setting would be an advantage.
Lead and management qualification/training (advantage)

Roles and responsibilities include:

- Leading and supervising a team of day care practitioners in the day to day running of the setting to an outstanding level
- The implementation of the EYFS framework and meeting all Ofsted requirements
- Implement all safeguarding policies and procedures
- Maintaining excellent parent partnerships
- The supervision of health and safety
- Invoicing, fee collection and debt recovery as well as the marketing of the nursery to prospective parents
- Maintaining the nursery's management software system.
- Implement all Nightingales Day Nursery policies and procedures and input into policy development
-Liaising with the senior management team to further develop the setting. With regular supervisions off staff and their practice
-Regular lead of staff meetings
-Responsibility of the regular development of nursery staff to maintain a high practice of care at all times
