Qualified Nursery Assistant (Key Person)

Mulberry Bush Day Nursery, Mulbarton, are looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, child-centred team. This vacancy has arisen due to continued growth and popularity.

Mulberry Bush is a full day care setting, open from 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday, 51 weeks a year. It is is a thriving and popular nursery with an excellent reputation for high quality care and education and a genuine commitment to inclusion and working in partnership with families.

The position is for 36 hours per week and you must be available for 8am-6pm shifts. You will be working primarily with childred aged 2-5yrs and will have key-person responsibilities.

Qualifications and relevant experience of looking after young children are essential for this position. We have a professional and dedicated team: The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic childcare practitioner with a good working knowledge of child development and a passion for bringing out the best in every child. We are looking for someone to join our friendly team in continuing to build on best practice and bring their own ideas and enthusiasm.

After training, you will be expected to take on Key Person responsibilities, ensuring individual care for a group of children and families. You will be required to work within the EYFS and take an active role in the planning and implementation of activities based around a child-centred ethos and working from our book-led curriculum.
