Montessori Classroom Assistant

£7.83 to £8.50 depending on experience and/or qualifications. Part time Term Time Only 10-12-2018 Level 2 childcare qualification
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Cawston Montessori, which opened a year ago. We are two small, popular nurseries with excellent staff and superb local reputations. The nursery is sessional and term time only for pre-school children of between 2 and 5 years old. Cawston Montessori is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9.00 and 3.00 but we are hoping to increase our opening hours during 2019.
We would like to recruit a part-time Montessori Classroom Assistant. Ideally the applicant would be qualified to at least level 2, however this is not essential. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children in a formal childcare environment. Having a current first aid / food hygiene / safeguarding certificate would also be advantageous however not essential as training can be undertaken. You must be computer literate as there will be the need to complete some administrative work each week, most of which can be completed during quieter periods. Knowledge of the EYFS and Montessori Philosophy is beneficial but not essential. Access to your own vehicle is important as there are very limited public transport links within the village.

If you are interested in Montessori Philosophy, are enthusiastic, motivated, keen to embrace our ethos of continual development, are a team player and passionate about working with children then please contact Samantha Mann to arrange an informal visit or to be sent an application pack.
Closing date for applications:- December 10th 2019 – Interviews 19th December 2018.
