EYITT / Room Leader

£12.00 ph Full time All Year 03-07-2020 Level 6 (Graduate) childcare qualification
Hall Farm Nursery is set in a lovely, rural location with excellent access to the outdoors. The nursery is located in the village of Hargham near Attleborough. We provide high quality integrated childcare and education for up to 90 children aged 3 months - 5 years.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and ambitious childcare practitioner. We are looking to recruit an Early Years Teacher to work with children 3 months – 5years, whilst undertaking some management responsibilities.
Applicants must have previous experience working within a nursery environment
Requirements of the role are:

• To be passionate and enthusiastic about providing high qualify childcare.
• Work well within a team and be able to lead, motivate and support a team of staff.
• Ability to plan effectively within the EYFS.
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents and outside professionals.
• To be involved in the implementing and reviewing of the settings policies and procedures.
• To support the Manager, by contributing ideas to ensure the setting moves forward with a quality improvement focus.

It is expected that the successful candidate will initially concentrate on establishing themselves in the pre-school room, then to move onto more management tasks, while still in the room leader position.

All our staff are fully supported with their career development. You will be expected to attend regular team meetings to contribute ideas and work with colleagues to ensure our setting continues to move forwards with a quality improvement focus.

The position is full time for approximately 38-40 hours per week. We are looking for the applicant to start in August / September.

We are committed to safeguarding the children in the nursery. Appointment to this position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and 2 suitable references and a 6 month probation period.
