Level 3 Childcare qualification

Costessey Preschool is looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our friendly team. This post will be for our Preschool provision. Candidates will ideally have a Level 3 qualification, or higher, in Childcare.

Advanced knowledge of the EYFS is required in order to provide stimulating and educational learning opportunities for the children. This is a great opportunity to develop your ideas within a busy, growing Preschool.

The successful candidate will be expected to:
Be a motivated team member committed to delivering high quality care.
Maintain and develop relationships with school staff, parents and children.
Accurately complete registers and documentation such as Accident & Incident Forms.
Work as the Key Person for a group of EYFS children whilst keeping a record via Tapestry.
Plan and implement activities to support the children's learning and development.
Adhere to all requirements within the Ofsted Framework to work towards a Good/Outstanding setting.
Understand and adhere to the setting’s safeguarding policies and follow procedures to keep children safe and secure and ensure that others at the setting are adhering to the policy.

We aim to provide a fun, safe and inspiring environment to allow the children to enjoy every moment in our care.
We are also dedicated to supporting employees through their continuous professional development.

Interested applicants are welcome to telephone the manager for further information. Please login/register for contact details and to request an application form.

Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and two suitable references being returned. Subscribing to the DBS annual update services is also required.

Costessey Preschool and Out of School Clubs is an Equal Opportunities Employer; we are also committed to safeguarding children in our care and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
