Early Years & Childcare Practitioner

Above National Living Wage Full time All Year 28-07-2017 Level 3 childcare qualification
We are looking for nurturing people to join our small, Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING team, providing home-based childcare and education for children from birth to teens, in the rural village of Hickling. The position is either part-time up to 16 hours per week, or full-time, including flexible support cover for staff holidays, training, sickness and to cover fluctuations in child numbers.

Candidates should have the following skills and experience;
-minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
-nurturing nature
-passionate about their role in childcare and education
-able to use their initiative within a small team
-the flexibility to work at short notice
-excellent communication skills
-good organisational skills
-knowledge of the EYFS is essential, as you will take an active role in the education and care of young children.

Duties will include taking on the Key Person role, planning and carrying out activities and supporting the rest of the small Early Years team.
Hourly wage will exceed the National Living Wage rate for your age group.
Hours of work will be within our current opening hours of:
49 weeks per year, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday - between 7:30am and 6pm.
All applicants will be subjected to strict vetting procedures and must comply with Enhanced DBS checking and provide 2 suitable References.
