It is open term time only for pre-school children between 2 and 5 years old. It is open – 8.15 am to 4.15 pm five days a week. The position has become available due to the increasing numbers of children attending the setting, coupled with staff retirement.

We would like to recruit an Early Years Practitioner/ Montessori Classroom Assistant to work for two mornings a week across both nurseries and an Early Years Practitioner/ Montessori Teacher to work three full days a week at Attlebridge Montessori. It is essential the Early Years Practitioner/Montessori Teacher is qualified to at least level 3.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children in a formal childcare environment. Montessori experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Having a current first aid / food hygiene / safeguarding certificate would also be advantageous however not essential as training can be undertaken. You must be computer literate as there will be the need to complete some administrative work each week, most of which can be completed during quieter periods. Knowledge of the EYFS and Montessori Philosophy is beneficial but not essential. Access to your own vehicle is important as there are very limited public transport links within both villages.

If you are interested in Montessori Philosophy, are enthusiastic, motivated, keen to embrace our ethos of continual development, are a team player and are passionate about working with children then please contact Samantha Mann as we would encourage all applicants to visit our nurseries before submitting an application.
