Deputy Nursery Manager

Alpha Nurseries Group are currently recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager for Safe Hands Day Nursery in Diss Norfolk. This is a full time position, 30 hours a week offering up to £8.70 per hour depending on age and qualifications for the right candidate to work closely with the fantastic and dedicated manager. Hours between 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, to start as soon as possible.

Role Requirements:

We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and organised person to support the nursery manager to run our exciting provision and ensure the best outcomes for our children and families. Applicants must hold an up to date and recognised level three childcare qualification and have at least two years post qualifying childcare experience. Ability to navigate ICT is essential. Prior experience of a supervisory role in an early years setting would be an advantage.

Role and Responsibilities:

Roles and responsibilities include;

Leading and supervising a team of daycare practitioners in the day to day running of the setting to an outstanding level.

The implementation of the EYFS and meeting Ofsted requirements.

Implement all safeguarding policies and procedures.

Maintaining excellent parent partnerships.

The supervision of health and safety.

Assisting the nursery manager with invoicing, fee collection and debt chasing.

Marketing of the nursery to prospective parents
supporting the nursery manager to maintain the nursery's management software system.

Implement all Alpha Nurseries Group policies and procedures and input into policy development.
Liaising with the nursery manager and senior management team to develop the setting.
