The Children’s Services Manager at The Hamlet is the overall lead for the delivery of our work to children from birth to 19 years of age with disabilities and complex health needs and their families.
The Children’s Centre is based in the centre of Norwich and offers a range of high quality services throughout the year. Providing strong leadership and vision for the service, the post holder is responsible for the day to day management of The Hive and Little Bees (under fives provision for parents and their children), Early Explorers Pre-school and Short Breaks for children with disabilities. The post holder is supported by two deputies, one for pre-school and one for Short Breaks as well as senior practitioners who lead on the service for under fives through The Hive. The small team of core staff is supported by up to 40 casual workers. The post is suitable for someone from a teaching, health or social care background with experience of working within the field of disability and or complex health needs.
 
The Hamlet Charity has been established for over 44 years and is governed by a board of trustees. The charity provides care for children and adults from it’s two sites in Norwich.
